Water retention in the landscape

In 2020, we implemented a pilot project for the Rožnov pod Radhoštěm Urban Forest. A total of 1,500 m of unnecessary approach lines were reclaimed. In total, we dug 615 pits, soakage strips and 2 ponds. Without the reclamation, 4 500 m3 of water would have flowed down the approach lines per year and about once as much from the broken pores above the roads (9000 m3 of water per year).³ vody za rok a přibližně jednou tolik z přerušených pórů nad cestami (9000 m3 vody za rok).
